PEEP eMentoring Project

The PEEP eMentoring Project will use the power and efficiencies of the internet to give African American youth access to the people, tools and information they need to become successful adults. Every aspect of the project is designed to encourage young people to set goals, seek higher education and explore their strengths in order to use them for future career and entrepreneurial endeavors.

Students will navigate the site to access a library of videos showing local professionals and entrepreneurs showcasing the skills they use daily, discussing the training and education they received and giving advice for those interested in their particular field. The videos will highlight the importance of education, expose young people to many career and entrepreneurial options and allow them to “see” what it’s truly like in the world of work. Students will also be able to read insightful blogs and complete online lessons designed to guide them in making plans for bright futures.

This interactive portion of the website will soon require registration before you are able to access videos, lessons and blogs.
